Before I decided to purchase this product, I did read other customers' reviews, noting that several complained about the poor packaging--just the manufacturer's standard cardboard box. The package arrived rather intact, except for one corner of the box being ripped. When I opened the box, I found a loose part, a screw-on T that harnessed the handles once assembled. Much to my consternation, when I did assemble the mower--and certainly not much to that--I found the bolt to that screw-on T was missing. Of course, I read that I could not return the merchandise; so, my brother found a bolt that worked. So, buyers beware of the poor packaging, and that is why I must give this product only 4 stars. Otherwise, the unit has worked wonderfully well, and the property I mow is rather at an incline. The assist of self-propelled certainly makes the job far easier; and if you need a no-frills (without a discharge bag, just mulch and side discharge) machine to do the job, then this is the one.
