Environmentally Friendly, Maintenance FreeBecause it has an electric motor, the WorxECO Mower eliminates the hassle with a traditional gasoline engine--just push the start button, and go. The rechargeable battery provides enough power to mow up to 17,500 square feet on a single charge. Purchase additional rechargeable batteries to cover larger jobs, so you don't have to waste time waiting for your battery to recharge to complete the job. The electric motor emits much less noise than a gas engine, protecting your hearing and reducing noise pollution.
Versatility to Cut, Mulch, or Bag
The 19-inch deck offers plenty of cutting surface, with easy all-wheel height adjustment between 1-1/2 and 3-1/2 inches. You can collect your clippings in the included grass bag, slip in the mulch insert and recycle clippings back into your yard, or take advantage of the side discharge chute to quickly clear grass from the cutting deck.
Added features include a safety key to prevent accidentally starting of the mower, and a power level indicator that keeps you informed on how much charge you have left in your battery.
Ergonomic, Adjustable Design
The WorxECO 24V Mower features ErgoSum Design Technology, allowing you to adjust the handle to the most comfortable operating angle without using any tools. Thanks to the electric motor, vibration is minimal, and the included soft grips reduce vibration further to minimize fatigue. The handle also folds for easy storage.
The WorxECO 24V Cordless Lawn Mower is covered by a two-year limited warranty.

Summary: great Worx mower, but slow customer service 2010-07-05
Things I like:
* The battery is way better than my previous Black and Decker mower: it has lasted 1.5 seasons -- probably about 40 cuts -- so far and I have not yet noticed any diminishing charge. I have always assiduously charged the battery according to instructions in the manual (it needs to be charged at least every 2 months... I set my cell phone calendar to remind me during the winter).
* I can mow all my grass (about 1/3 acre) on a single charge. Admittedly, my lawn is pretty scrappy, with a huge number of weeds in places (inherited from previous residents!), but some weeds can be tough to cut and this mower manages.
* It is very easy to raise and lower the height of the deck
* I love being able to remove the battery: I can take it into my basement to recharge while keeping the mower in the shed. I also keep the battery in the basement in the winter.
* The indicator lights showing the level of battery charge are a simple but useful feature.
Things I wish were different:
* The wheels are positioned in such a way as to make it difficult to cut right up to walls and the edges of flower beds. I end up having to take my strimmer to these areas.
* It is fairly heavy. Mostly this is not an issue but on one slope, I can feel the weight as I mow (I always mow across the slope). Also, the weight means that the wheels sink in and make ruts on soft soil.
* I wish I could pull it backwards a few feet without the rubber flap at the back of the mower always dragging underneath the mower body.
* The plastic body feels somewhat cheap. Mine developed a crack on one side at some point last year; this appears not to have affected the machine's effectiveness, but makes me question the quality of the product.
On balance, however, I am pleased with the mower and have recommended it to family members looking to move away from gas mowers.
