Swisher 22-Inch Trim-N-Mow Trimmer With 6.25 HP Briggs & Stratton 625 Series Engine - California Ready ST60022Q-CA8

Bought land with about 6 acres of overgrown pasture. I wanted to leave most of the land as is for pheasants & other wild life and only cut trails. This machine does a fairly good job, but could use wider wheels. Swisher included goggles for eye protection, which is fine for soft grass & weeds, BUT BE WARNED, this machine does throw debris back. I recommend a full face guard, long legged pants & shoes when cutting rougher material. This machine is also pretty loud, so ear plugs should also be used.
Overall, I like the machine's performance. It starts easily, is low maintenance and runs for about an hour on a tank of gas. The cutting lines take a fair amount of abuse, I've hit a few steel fence posts with them and they didn't break.

First of all I have been a dedicated and satisfied amazon customer for years but something happened when amazon decicided to sell this machine.I ordered one thru amazon and got a flyer in the mail from our local tractor supply store announcing a fathers day special for this machine for $299.99.At first I thought maybe it wasn't the same model but it was.I was able to cancel my amazon order as it hadn't shipped yet. Tractor supply sells it for $349.99 regularly.Okay now for the machines performance.First of all if you aren't familiar with this type of machine you may want to rent one for a day before you buy one.These machine's aren't even a distant cousin to a lawn mower.This baby is a weed assassin.
