I just got this mower, and have used it just once; but overall am very pleased. Assembly was fast and easy, and the custom battery came pre-charged, so there was the instant gratification of being able to use it out of the box.
Cutting height adjustment for all wheels is controlled by a single lock-position lever, so that's nice. Cutting performance is solid, the motor is plenty strong and I can more than cut my admittedly smallish yard on a single charge.
Still, I have two negative observations, neither of which is a show-stopper.
First, the mower deck is steel, not aluminum like on better mowers. This means you really should follow the manual's advice to clean the underside of the mower after each mowing - certainly when the grass has moisture in it - lest the deck rust out prematurely. The good news about this is that since the mower is electric you can turn it on its side for cleaning and there's no gas or oil to drip out and make a mess. The...Read more
