Neuton 24v battery replacement,

It seems that Amazon won't be selling this item anymore. The 2 batteries that are inside the case can possibly be found on Amazon (*see below for more on this) or I think that you can buy this battery on the Neuton website for around $100.
A $100 for this battery...ouch! A cheaper solution: Replace the two 12volt-10Amp/hour "slim" SLA batteries inside the battery pack yourself and DIY is very easy. After a little research on Google I found a company, BATTERYJACK that had the batteries. (*see note below as I did find a battery on Amazon that MAY work)

That's correct, $43.25 delivered to my door.
Note: batteries that worked for me are the 12v 10ah "slim" batteries and may have slightly different dimensions than 12v 10ah batteries (i.e. not slim)

Far as we can tell, the battery is OK, though VERY pricey. It turns out to be the wrong one for our old Neuton mower, but that was the fault of Neuton's catalog. We dismembered this one to install it in our old Neuton, and it seems to be working well. A new one to fit our mower was half-again as much. Neuton doesn't offer much help to people with older, but still-working models.

If you buy this battery, DO NOT follow the charging directions in your mower's manual. This battery is different than the original battery and SHOULD NOT be left on the charger during the off-season especially when using the older-style charger. I bought this battery 9 months ago and unless I receive a refund from Amazon, I'm out $105.
