I used this product for an entire season and got exactly what I was hoping I would get which is a lawn that looks like a baseball stadium outfield or a football field. A few notes for everyone that will help them with this product.
I didn't give it 5 stars because if you take it off your lawn mower and reinstall in on another, if you leave the product filled with sand, it is very heavy, awkward and darn near impossible to reattach without emptying some of it out which may prompt the need to buy more sand. There has to be an easier way to attach this thing.
Now for the good stuff:
* THERE IS DRY SAND PEOPLE! Go to your hardware store and buy colored play sand in the plastic bag. (YES IT IS DRY UNLIKE OTHER SANDS). My home depot has it, it is in different colors made by Crayola. It is fine as dust almost but is listed as 'play sand.' You will use 3/4 of one bag almost to fill it up. I just snipped the tip of the corner of the bag to create a tiny hole...Read more

Bought this for Father's Day. What a waste of money. Tried it with the grass short, long and in between. Not a sripe to be seen. So between the price of the product and the sand you have to buy, save your money!

This product really does work! My lawn looked incredible after the first time I used it. BUT like others have said it is tough to get the sand inside. I used Water and it works great! Also, make sure you outline your lawn and give yourself plenty of turn around room for your mower before putting the stryper on. I have railroad ties around my beds so I have to make three passes out before I can put on the stryper. Also, I have a lawn boy and I have to make it fit by forcing it on because the smallest size is still to big for the width of my mower handle. All they would have had to do is make another hole but oh well. Now I'm changing my rating to 3 instead of 4 because that makes me mad.
