Junkvarna. I don't have the 25 hp, but the 22 hp B&S V-twin. But regardless of engine, I wouldn't recommend a Junkvarna to my worst enemy! After all, these are made by Electrolux, the vacuum cleaner people, which is fitting 'cause these tractors suck. Unless you have a very flat yard, you will not get a very good result. The mower deck floats about an inch so you get all kinds of gouges in your lawn, if it will keep moving. Typically it gets stuck on the slightest of mounds or grade differential. Then the open rear end kicks in and drives the wheel that slips versus the wheel that grips. The hangers for the mowing deck must be made of the softest steel out there. They kept bending out and dropping the deck to the ground. Ended up bypassing those and made it a fixed height to the highest it will go. Also, when mowing in a half or full circle, (around trees or shrubs) the outside of the cut would be a lower cut than the inside. Nice aesthetics.? The B&S v-twin engine is about the best...Read more
