This is though, the first time I've had a product delivered to me without any sign of damage (the box had no signs of rips, scuffs or tears) where I ended up with damaged goods.
Specifically, the mower deck pan was heavily dented, so much so that it required me to remove the blade and use a rubber mallet to knock the dent out so that the blade could turn under the mower deck. After reassembly of the blade under the deck, I went to extend the handle to the operating position, only to find that BOTH sides on the hinge support welded to the deck were bent and they too required "adjustment" so that the handle could be assembled. Lastly, after completing the the assembly checklist prior to using the mower, I started it up, engaged the drive and nothing happened. Short story, the drive belt had slipped off the pulleys which required me to open the deck from both the top...Read more |
