This review is from: Greenworks 25072 20-Inch 5-Blade Push Reel Lawn Mower with Grass Catcher (Lawn & Patio) I had originally ordered the 79 dollar one, but it kept saying it was available but it was not shipping. Finally, after chatting with Amazon support, I learned they really had NO idea when it was going to come. In desperation, as my grass continued to grow despite the delay in the lawn mower's arrival, I went with this one.
This cuts the grass very well, but does not cut the weeds, which means I still have to go back over with the weed whacker/trimmer. Its grass catcher, which was one of the reasons why I bought it, fell off about 5 times the first 2 times I attempted mowing, and now we don't even use it anymore. If you go with a reel, go with one that doesn't have a catcher. Near as I can tell, it isn't worth it. I would not recommend this product. 8 of 9 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Greenworks 25072 20-Inch 5-Blade Push Reel Lawn Mower with Grass Catcher (Lawn & Patio) I have converted from a gas-powered mower, and do not regret it. This thing is clean, quiet, and the grass looks great. The catcher works pretty well, too, although it is not that big. My biggest surprise was that it is actually fairly easy to push. I was expecting a workout, but it's actually more like a walk in the park.... Two thumbs up! 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Greenworks 25072 20-Inch 5-Blade Push Reel Lawn Mower with Grass Catcher (Lawn & Patio) The mower does cut grass, but leaves all taller single weeds intact. As a result, there is a lawn with a 100 weeds sticking up - I have to go around and cut them with pruners by hand. the handle is sooooo flimsy - I'm sure it will break in a couple months. I am returning this mower. |
