Read the reviews before I purchased. They were mixed. I especially like the fact that the bag is smaller. I don't let it get full. 15lbs is about my limit for lifting. I am 71 female. I have a corner lot and all lawn and takes me about 2 hours. I take breaks. I have a bumpy lawn and go slow and all works just fine. The largest portion is sloped and I can handle that fine by just going slow. No issue with the height level changing. Put together in about 10 minutes. It arrives in the lowest position and found that out the hard way. Mow wouldn't go. Called the number given and bingo, got the answer and away I went. Good phone service. If there were anything that could be improved, I would say the operating handle. The thin portion of the handle is toward the middle of the bar and feels our of balance pushing. Keeping my hand to the right, the handle is thick and my hand gets tired after awhile. Other thing is that there could be a balanced handle on the bag. I fear that holding the bag...Read more

Product was like brand new.Easy to assemble and operate.Because it is cord bound I would not recomended for large yards.

I almost bought this from Amazon but thought I would do some research first. I went to the manufacturer's website [ ... ] and found it there for [ ... ] . Despite the fine products and service I've always gotten from Amazon, I couldn't pass up the chance to save $20 (price also included shipping). The only negatives: When I opened the box, the lower parts of the handles were missing! I called SnowJoe and was assured I would receive them in 5 to 8 business days. After 5 days I called back and was told there was no record of my call!!! They once again promised to send them out and 5 days later they arrived. Despite the initial inconvenience, I am pleased with the mower. The first use occurred after many leaves had fallen and it had no problem sucking them up. I did have to buy a 100 ft, 13 Amp extension cord, adding another $37 to the cost. I had a smaller cord but I'd rather have one capable of delivering the necessary power and NOT risk burning out the motor!
