Bolens 19-Inch 12 Amp Electric Powered Lawn Mower with Grass Bag 18A-V17-765

I bought this mower because it was relatively cheap at $142. It took 2 weeks for me to receive it, and I was expecting to be disappointed. I was right. There was no owner's manual or any documentation to speak of. The mower is made in Hungary! One of the wheels could not be adjusted to the height of the other three; I had to really bend the metal adjuster to get it to hold...for awhile at least. The control lever is made of cheap disposable plastic. Then there's the "performance." This mower is simply too weak. It slows and then dies when there is any resistance. The bag is useless since the motor is too weak to fill the bag. It only fills up halfway. And when I tried to push the mower over a tree root, the long handle gave way from the short handle; the height adjusting mechanism on the handle is not strong enough to withstand any force.

This mower comes with a 2 year warranty according to the Bolens website. I really doubt that this mower will last more than a few...Read more

it is a good electric mower, good entry price, strong power. I wish the manual show how to remove the hood to remove grass clipping from the motor housing. after hours of my time and broke one of the latch, to remove the hood insert screw driver to the hole on the side of the hood push it real hard it will release the latch.
after clean out the debris, the motor run much stronger.I called Bolens, they said "can not give technical advise", how can you do the maintenance with out that knowledge.
