Summary: Not a good lawn mower for yards with a lot of obstacles 2010-02-24
Comment: This a good, strong electric lawn mower. It cuts well and dicharges well. It will even discharge very wet grass (better than the gas mowers I had).
Problems:
1. Center of gravity is at the front of the mower, making it hard to turn.
Other electric lawn mowers have the center of gravity at the rear wheels, making them much more agile.
2. Padded handles do not last very long.
3. The grass bag is almost even with the handles. If you mow up against a wall, especially a low wall, with a curve, you will scrape the bag, and wear it out in about one year.
4. The wheels are hard plastic, covered with a soft rubber tire. If you mow along a wall, or trees, the side of the tire eventually rubs off and the tire pops off.
If you are just going to mow long stretches out in the middle of nowhere, this is a great lawn mower.
If you are going to do mowing that involves making tight turns, and have to mow around obstacles, it is not a great choice.

Summary: Better than a gas mower! 2010-02-01
Comment: My husband loves to mow our lawn now that we have this mower. It's not as noisy as our old gas mower and it cuts the grass nicely. My husband is 6'3 and used to have to bend over to mow our lawn, but he doesn't have to anymore because of the of the adjustable handbar. Plus he says it's easy to adjust. Well worth the $.

Summary: Black & Decker does it again! 2010-01-09
Comment: We've owned B&D products before so we are biased. They never seem to let us down. Our first B&D mower was as second hand job that lasted us 12 years. Season after season that little guy kept working. Sadly even these have a deadline and the little one simply died. Naturally, we went for another B&D again. Now they're wider which allows fewer passes and more lightweight so it's a breeze to operate. Don't care much for the orange color but frankly, that's not what we buy a mower for, so we can live with it. WE fully expect this one to last another 15 - 20 years too.

Summary: Excelent mower 2009-12-18
Comment: This is the second one we bought. We had the same one for our previous house, which we left for our tenant. So decided to buy the same one since it served us so well. And, guess what? We are glad that we made the right decision!

Summary: Great electric mower 2009-11-14
Comment: The Black & Decker MM875 is a solid machine. Cuts grass cleanly and evenly. Mulches so well that no bagging is necessary. The 19 inch cut is plenty for even large lawns. If you're looking for an electric, buy this one; can't do better.
