I'm not quite sure if it's the exact same model (i don't want to go outside and check), mine is amazing. the only problem is the power cord. but if i get one of my kids to hold the cord to keep it out of my way, i have no problems with the cord. another way is to tie it around your waist before plugging it in and mow in zigzag away from the power source. as far as only being good for small spaces, i live on 4 acres, half of it is trees and bushes, etc. i've been clearing more and more and this thing is like a bush hog. granted, the shields (side and back) have torn off, but what do you expect when using it as a bushhog to cut down small trees (about 1 inch)? if it gets caught in something, (like a vine), it will stop, but not stall. i don't have strong arms and can not pull the chord on a regular mower. but if i unplug the electric one and disentangle it, it starts right up again with no problem. it's wonderful. we have creeks on each side of the house, to mow down the banks...Read more

I've had the displeasure of having no other choice but to use this lawnmower to my lawn this season and let me tell you that it's almost unbearable. Granted the quality of this product is in fact quite good so I won't give it a one star review, but the concept is totally brain damaged. Whoever thought that tethering a lawnmower to a wall outlet was a good idea obviously hasn't thought it through very much- imagine going over your entire yard with a vacuum cleaner- yeah, it's that bad. The cord will invariably get caught on something and constantly gets in the way of the user requiring them to cast it away every 8 or so feet, and of course the possibility of getting electrocuted from running the damn cord over just makes it even worse. This product is really only suitable for very small yards with very few or no obstacles - though if you have a yard like that then you're better off buying a high quality manual lawn mower - there's so much less to go wrong and it'll last longer...Read more
